I've come to know the poetry of people, our ceremonies and the intimacies that add up to
I'm a hometown girl native to the Bay Area with roots in Washington State. I grew up with a hunger to experience the world and a call back to the California beach life.
My photography career bloomed from a passion for social activism. In 2009, I co-founded an arts program for foster kids and low-income families in South Central LA called SoCal HeARTs. The mission was to offer creative activities cut from public schools to nurture well-rounded children and their dreams. A few years in, I got behind the camera to document the work and found my calling.
I never intended to shoot weddings but after my co-founder believed in me and insisted I shoot hers (and it got published), I quickly realized it was what I was meant to do. I fell in love with documenting the beautiful families I got to connect with, the amazing places I got to go, the wonderful creative partners I had the opportunity to collaborate with. It's been over a decade of shooting weddings now, and I have learned that the best shots are the real ones, the moments of presence that come from a comfort and a whole team that cares mostly about you enjoying a moment that will only exist once.
I'm grateful to have a team that has been with me since the beginning - the experience and trust between us creates a comfort, creativity, and a track record that I couldn't be more proud of. I now live out my dream of shooting a select number of weddings and editorial opportunities that push my artistry while continuing to creatively direct the incredible work of my team.

I fell in love with my fiancé, Brian, after volunteering my camera in support of a regenerative travel company, Kin Travel, he founded to invest in ecosystems and communities. Together it's been a time of inspiration and adventure! He and his team plan safaris in East and South Africa including honeymoons and private family trips. If you're thinking about your next adventure, don't hesitate to reach out! They're there to curate the most incredible, trip of a lifetime for you.
All my life I've been a dancer and my love for movement, composition and choreography translated not only in the imagery but is why I came to love weddings. They are these impassioned, layered dances that push me and push the art.
They require me to be so many things - a timekeeper, a choreographer, a stylist, an art director, a friend and part of the family.
"Your photos made us want to be at the events you were capturing and made us want to get to know the couples and people in the photos."
